 Awareness is a concern about and well informed interest in particular situation or development

it is also the state of being conscious of something more specifically it is the ability to directly know and perceive, to feel or to be cognizant of events

Our src members try in many ways to raise awareness to certain matters Namely

GENDER-BASED-VIOLENCE AWERENESS

The  awareness campaign aim is to raise awareness of the negative impact that violence and abuse have on women and children .

They help all students who are abused and teach them on the negative impact that abuse have .

They challenge gender stereotype and roles

They challenge the normalisation of violence against women and children

DRUG- ABUSE AWARENESS

Our src raise awareness of drug abuse ,they provide knowledge necessary to avoid risky situations and information to make healthier personal choices, it aids in creating personal strategies for avoiding both negative peers and inherent social pressures associated with substance use in school and also social scenarios

WOMENS MONTH AWARENESS

This is where they inform students and make them aware of womens rights and how important they are and also how to celebrate womens as a whole and groom the young upcoming students who are also women on how to behave themselves as they grow up ,during this awareness they invite speakers to come and address the learners at the campus those speakers are usually the well known people like Bonang Matheba who is a well known influencer and Zanele Mbokazi who is a well known business women.
